Digital Medicine Consortium

Digital Medicine Consortium is established in 2021 from the Medical Faculty of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (60%) and Alliance Medica Capital Ltd. (40%). The purpose of the Consortium is to participate in the development of projects, programs and products in the field of R&D related to new applications and systems for digital medicine, including, but not limited to:

  • Implementation of a project for integration of the Republic of Bulgaria in various transplantation programs, using the experience of France, the Czech Republic and other leading European countries in this field;
  • Implementation of a project for participation of the Consortium in a procedure /public procurement/ for construction of a Proton Center in Bulgaria under the EU recovery plan;
  • Development of a concept and creation of a unified register for oncology treatment and good practices in oncology;
  • Development and implementation of projects in the field of digital medicine;
  • Developing a Master’s program at the Medical Faculty of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in the field of digital medicine;
  • Developing a Master’s program at the Medical Faculty of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in the field of transplantology;
  • Development of the digital medicine sector, improving efficiency and introducing new solutions with a view to the digital transformation of the sector and improving the quality of healthcare reaching European standards.

The consortium will seek active cooperation with other industry and research partners from France, the Czech Republic and other leading European countries in this field.
